What we offer

At the heart of all our projects is automation, often through digitalization of outdated work flows.

The challenges are many, especially as most often it includes the need to integrate old technology with new – all in a seamless way and with limited resources.

This is where BlueBarricade excels. By providing a unique, scalable solution that is developed from start with Security, Transparency, Traceability and Speed in mind.

We provide the latest technology in combination with the trust and stability of our embedded partner IBM for your core business applications and processes.

Safe Charity Donations

Problem

A major problem with charitable donations today is knowing where the funds end up. With blockchain technology we can track funds from initial donation to final destination, and make sure there is no risk of money laundering or misappropriation along the line.

  • Terrorism, money laundering and embezzlement

  • High admin/ overhead cost

  • Donors withholding economic assistance due to fear of misappropriation and lack of transparency

Safe Charity Donations

Solution

Together with government health ministries in two countries and established health institutions in Scandinavia, we support charitable health initiatives with the transparent economic infrastructure they need to operate – significantly reducing administration costs as a bonus through the use of blockchain-based smart contracts.

  • Blockchain-trackable donation transfer

  • Easy auditing

  • Smart contracts

A financial business case

Problem

A UK-based financial company, active in the international money transfer services (remittance market) and the global donation market, turned to BlueBarricade and our IBM partner HCL to provide a blockchain based service.

Rules and regulations on international money transfer are stricter around the world, driven to enforce AML and prevent financing criminal activities. In practice this means that all parties involved in a process need to know who is who and that they are who they say they are.

A financial business case

Solution

There is greater than a 90% chance (IBM’s marketshare in credit card transactions) that your transfer will be processed in a IBM mainframe at one or several banks.

By putting this transaction into a blockchain we directly gain a big advantage – traceability. All transactions are logged and can be validated by a 3rd party at any time (audit). And by adding the blockchain interception at the head of the transaction in the mainframe we can achieve great performance with very little transaction overhead making it very cost effective.

Could your company use a blockchain solution too?
